Age Groups
My child is 7 and in the 3-7 year old age group. I’m worried they won’t have enough competition skating against 3-4 year olds.
This won’t be an issue due to the way Gigi structures the on-ice sessions. After powerskating, she splits the kids into 6 groups for skill work and small-area competitive games. Each group is based on skill level. Therefore, your 7 year old child will only be competing with kids at the same skill level. Typically, a 3-4 year old never competes against the 6-7 year olds…unless they’re the next Kendall Coyne or Connor McDavid. 🙂
My child is turning 8 after camp. Can he/she participate in the 8-12 age group?
The cut-off date is July 31, 2023. If your child will be 8 by then, he/she may participate in the 8-12 age group.

However, we will credit you the entire amount paid to the following year of camp (2024). If you are unable to participate in the next year (2024), the camp credit isn’t eligible for refunds.
